Week 3 and still no better

Ok, so week 3 rolls around I am feeling good about my line up choices. I start Big Ben and he scores me 24 points. Carson was on the bench and scored 17, so that was good. I am playing against a guy that has the Bengals defense going, Reggie bush in his line up, along with Darren McFadden. PIECE OF CAKE!!!!

Finish Sunday's games and I am down by 8 points...No biggie..I have Jason Witten going for me Monday night. He has Steve Smith going for him, but I am not worried. Witten starts getting little passes and the points start rolling up for me. I'm down by 7..then 5..then 3...now we are tied going into the half..75 to 75. I can smell my first victory of the season...Second half rolls around..Nothing is thrown Witten's way.....Smith get s a little 5 yard pass..but..that is enough to move him over the thresh hold for a point..76 -75 him.....I need 3 yards to get that point back...4th quarter rolls around...where the hell is Witten at??? OMG..He is on the bench just kicking back!!!!!!!!! Get your butt out there and get me my first victory of the season.....Needless to say, Witten did not return..I was 3 yards short from a tie..and I am now 0-3 for the year. Can I trade or release myself???

Big Ben vs Carson, life is not fair in Fantasy Football

It seems like every week I end up with a big choice to make. Do I start Big Ben or Carson Palmer? I come into the week already 0-1. Why?? Because last week, Big Ben went ape-shit against my Titans, and Carson did nothing. Now, not wanting to go against my team, I sat Big Ben, and what do you know..I lost. I lost by 5 little points. If I would have gone with common sense instead of what my heart says, I would have been 1-0.

Fast forward to today's games. Carson against the Packers or Ben against the Bears. I take Big Ben, I mean come on, he lit my team up, he is going to going to beat the Bears like a red-headed step-child. WRONG!!!!! Ben gets 22 points, Carson gets 31, I lose 74-73 and start the season out at 0-2

BTW..When you draft 10th in a 12 man league, pickens are slim when you get into the middle rounds. Thats why I have Big Ben and then such a drop off to Carson :o)
